Within the framework of Italian-German cooperation in vocational education and training, the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts and Small Businesses is participating in the virtual education fair Didacta Italia this year. On 17 March 2021, we will present the project “Social partnership support for vocational training in micro and small enterprises in Italian regions – concept development and capacity building within the framework of Italian-German vocational training cooperation”, which will start in April.
In the programme booklet this event is announced as follows:
“In both Germany and Italy, more than 90% of enterprises employ fewer than 20 people. What is it like to do dual training in such a company? And how are micro and small enterprises in Germany supported in training? Which support offers are also suitable for Italy? We would like to talk about this in a very practical way with training companies and trainees from Italy and Germany. In addition, a German skills advisor will report on his work. The results will feed into the Italian-German cooperation project MSE-VET Italy, which starts in April and which we will also present. In the one-year project, inab, HBZ Brackwede and the Chamber of Skilled Crafts of Southern Thuringia are working together with regional networks from the CGIL, CISL and UIL trade union federations and craft associations in the regions of Piedmont, Tuscany and Veneto as well as another Italian region to develop models for supporting small companies in training apprentices.”
